The Special Kids School is a ministry partner in a very poor community of San Lucas Sacatepequez, Guatemala.
The School serves vulnerable children who would not otherwise have access to quality academic and spiritual education. It is located in an impoverished and violence-stricken area in Guatemala. Over 40 students come from the town, neighboring villages, and surrounding rural areas, to receive the love and education that Special Kids School offers.
We believe in this school, the Christian refuge it is for the children, and the amazing quality education that they receive. The teachers are amazing and specialized, and it is a blessing to partner with them to love on and serve these precious children!
Abogar provides financial support to the school.
We provide 3 teachers’ salaries annually as well as occasional food and supplies for the families of the students.
In 2015, Abogar started to support Special Kids School. We began with scholarships for 15 children for a few years. In 2017, we increased our commitment by providing salaries for three teachers. We are hopeful to see more teachers provided a good salary and more children receiving quality education, centered in Christ’s love, as we continue in partnership.
