As the new year has rushed in, and is taking off at a quick pace, we want to let you, Abogar’s followers and supporters, know of some great ways that you can be more involved with Abogar this year! 🙂
Firstly, we thank you for your interest in Abogar’s blog. We are a nonprofit organization advocating and networking for homeless and orphaned children throughout Latin America. Since you like Abogar’s blog, you may also be interested in our monthly email updates. We value deeply having a great network of prayer support, so these emails are a great way to be kept up to date about what is happening with Abogar. Secondly, prayer support is vital for our workers, so if you would like to be a part of Jesse’s personal prayer team, receiving his prayer requests and praise reports, join his MOST (Missionary Opportunity Sending Team). To join this group email MOST to info@abogarim.org.

Fourthly, as Abogar is growing, so does our budget. This year we are sending Jesse Rivers to Guatemala to volunteer with a children’s home in Guatemala City, Guatemala. God Bless The Children Home has become near and dear to our hearts, and we are excited to learn from their ministry and be a blessing to them as well. We have an initiative called ‘Get To Guatemala’, to raise $24,000 to support Jesse in Guatemala. We have raised nearly half of this amount, and are expecting to have the full amount raised before mid-March when Jesse will travel down to Guatemala. Finally, we desire to see Abogar International Ministries thrive to help children of Latin America whom are orphaned, homeless, and at risk, and we know that we can NOT do this without Jesus Christ at the center.
